In her new series, »Belle de Jour«, which refers to the eponymous film by Luis Buñuel from 1967, Anna Genger interprets the biography of nine women. Gengers treads phantasy and reality, satisfaction and failure, the beauty and the decay of these female figures. Abstractly portrayed, each character embodies a constant struggle for a self-determined existence.
