BASTIAN is pleased to present Hans Hofmann | Fury – Painting after the War a catalogue published to accompany our latest exhibition, featuring a new essay by David Anfam. Focusing on paintings produced at the end of the Second World War and immediately afterwards, a period which saw Hofmann’s style develop into the abstract, in response to the challenges of the era. The exhibition and the catalogue pay homage to that pivotal time in the artist’s career.
